How EdgeSync validates accounts, grants, projects, departments, classes, and other Financial Edge NXT dimensions.
Accounting mapping validates the coding that Financial Edge NXT needs before a paid bill can post. For nonprofits, this is where restricted funds, grant reporting, projects, departments, and expense accounts stay accurate.
Dimensions
EdgeSync checks each bill distribution against required dimensions. Depending on the organization, that can include account, project, grant, department, class, and fund-related segments.
Validation behavior
Valid mappings allow posting. Missing, inactive, ambiguous, or invalid combinations create exceptions so an operator can correct the mapping before the bill reaches Financial Edge NXT.
